When i sit i have a sharp pain in my right buttock, doesnt radiate down my leg. had an mri that showed tears in the gluteus medius but ortho said it doesnt mean anything. had si and piriformis injection, no improvement. any ideas for dx tests?

Diagnosis: Will not be needed, as you have one that is consistent with imaging and your symptoms. The confusion comes from communication with ortho that should read as not surgically correctable in his or her opinion. This type of lesion will at least partially heal, it will take long and physical therapy may help.
