Hi, my diastolic blood pressure was around 85 and 95 for about a year now and i'm not on any meds but lately it got higher to 100 is it dangerous if i don't treat it for few months (3 to 4 months) till i go back home and see my doctor?

Treatment: The blood pressure goal for you is 130/80. Your bp needs reduction. Lifestyle changes such as getting to ideal weight, reducing intake of salt, caffeine and alcohol, no smoking,reducing stress and performing regular exercise can be tried. If bp remains elevated, medications will have to be started. Don't wait longer than several weeks for significant improvement and downward trending of your bp.
