I was laughing hard and the back left part of my neck to the top left of my head feels sore. it almost feels like it's sprained. whenever i move my head left and right, this left part of my head hurts. what's going on?

Sprain: You very likely did sprain your occipital muscle. Laughing or coughing can be associated with flexion or extension injuries of the neck. Subluxation of vertebrae and even a fracture although rare have been documented.
