Strain: Strained neck ligaments and/or muscles are the likely cause of your symptoms. Since the injury is weeks old, I recommend hot(not too hot) moist applications for 20 minutes 4 times a day, rubbing liniment, and,if you can take them,nsaids like ibuprofen to relax and loosen tissues.Make sure you have a comfortable pillow. If significant discomfort persists, have your physician examine you.
