I had an aortic velve replacement in november. it is a tissue velve. i have severe osteo athritis in my knees. mt surgeon saud om not allowed to drink anti inflammatory meds. i'm in terable pain and struggle to walk. what can i drink to make it bette?

Osteoarthritis: You can take acetaminophen(Tylenol) but not while drinking alcohol in more than mild amounts. You could try taking glucosamine and chondroitin which has helped some patients with osteoarthritis. If it hasn't helped by 3 months stop it. For pain relief tramadol can be prescribed. A rheumatologist could advise you further.
