Do you think a lateral bucket handle meniscus tear with medial displacement and severe arthrosis calls for a total knee replacement. i think repair, heal then gel injections. i am not in pain, i can walk 1 to 2 miles i just can't squat or jump. 62 y?

Most corrective surgeries are done for symptoms which are unacceptable. You don't seem to be having those. So there is no urgency if total knee is advised. also you can get a second opinion and have the doc explain the reason for the proposed treatment. Good luck
