Have been eating meat, cheese, veggies, nuts for 6 weeks; no fruit, added sugar, or bread. had knee replacement surgery several days ago. taking meds. drinking lots of water. no bowel movement for over a week, no pain either. is this a problem? thanks!

Constipation: Would suggest adding fruit to your diet unless specific dietary concerns. I assume you restarted rehab. Constipation has to do with decreased physical activities and pain medicine on the postop period. In case constipation persists make sure you mention it during your follow up visit with your PCP.
