Diagnosis needed: Being so young, a firm diagnosis will be needed as you might need maintenance therapy in order to prevent exacerbations. Gout is not necessarily curable, but attacks that might be invalidating as well as long term complications can be prevented with diet and chronic therapy if indicated.
