Visited casualties with my son this morning. diagnosed a tear in the membrane of his ear. only mypaid prescribed for pain and was told not to use any ear drops. he is in pain and i just need to know how long the pain could last?

Follow up: A warm compress and Ibuprofen may help while the ear is healing. Monitor for increased pain level and please follow up. Avoid immersion of the ear.
