Maybe: The use of antibiotics in moderate to severe acne is one of many useful tools for treatment. The germs that invade the surface skin & aggravate acne can change to those resistant to one med & some docs alternate between different meds when this happens. You should work out a written acne plan with your doc that allows you to increase/decrease treatment(s) based on need.
