Twitching tongue: An electrolyte problem of some sort would likely explain an issue like this. Either Magnesium, Calcium or potassium. Other possibility would include a fascial palsy. Causes could be lyme disease, Guillan-Barre Syndrome, Herpes simplex or zoster, otitis media, mastoiditis, temporal bone abscess, traua, intracranial lesions- tumors, avm.
