This may be a simple manifestation of tongue muscle irritability or fatigue when you stretch the tongue. If there are frequent tongue twitches or severe spasms, a condition called lingual dystonia could be the cause. In your case I wouldn't worry about serious neurological issues especially in the absence of other symptoms. An oral surgeon or ENT specialist can advise you if you still have concern
