i had a sigmoid colectomy 9/2018. 3 weeks home i developed massive portal vein clot. i have had ab pain, nausea, excessive weight gain since, tho i dont eat. labs and cts remain good. what was missed? i feel awful and cant work. my health tanked!

Presenting symptoms are often vague, and a high index of suspicion is required to obtain the proper imaging studies to confirm the diagnosis . Approximately 2 wk post operatively, Rapid wt Gain, nausea, Vom,, abd. Pain . Labs - High WBC and mild LFT at times.
