Is there any well to tell if glue ear is improving?ive had fluid in my ears4months &the sounds/whooshes of fluid are getting worse but im thinking(& hoping!)this might mean that the mucus is loosening?i have no hearing loss so cant judge by that

Yes: I think the best way to tell is visiting an otorhinolaryngologist also known as ENT Doctor (ear nose and throat). Those symptoms you describe need to be assessed by a specialist. Sorry if this is not helpful, but this may require qualified attention.
