A member asked:

What does it mean to have folate levels of 2.5ug/l? the gp has put me on folic acid

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Appropriate: Your folic acid level is lower than desired and you should take the supplement prescribed by your doctor. You may also discuss with your doctor if you have other nutritional deficiencies. It would be okay to take multivitamin and iron supplement.
