A member asked:

1 week after b12 injection my levels have increased to 936. my folic acid level is 3.4. can someone tell me why this means? my gp wants to see me

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low folate (folic acid): All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your folate level is low, especially if you get pregnant. It would not hurt to take folic acid supplement.
