A member asked:

Had bloods done i've got high folate (folic acid) levels of 20:1 what does this mean i'm male b12 & hemoglobin are ok ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, Serum folate (folic acid) level of 20.1 is perfectly normal and is not a cause for any concern.
