I'm 6w4 days pregnant with my 1st. did bloods 2w ago (at 4w) & showed hcg was 45, then 48 hours later this level almost tripled to 131. is this a good sign? ges. sac was seen at 2mm on abdominal sonar near top of uterus. normal placing. weary!

HCG at 6w pregnant: HCG levels increase rapidly in the early stages of intrauterine pregnancy. Visualization of the gestational sac is reassuring, however a later ultrasound will reveal the fetal heart beat (in a couple more weeks).

Hcg blood test was less than 1 same day -4/16- of abdominal ultrasound, uterus measured 8.9x3.4x5.5 and a hyperechoic area in uterus measured 1.9cm. Potentially conceived 3/26. Increasing symptoms like burning breast. Possibly pregnant with low hcg?
