Hi,pregnant-first day of last period was 28 january.today we did a sonogram which showed my uterus is empty.is it normal? hcg doubling every 48hours

Empty uterus: preg ?: Pregnancy will definitely increase the production of HCG, but an "empty uterus" on ultrasound at this point in pregnancy could indicate that the pregnancy may be outside the uterus (ectopic), which needs immediate attention. See your OB provider for an exam and further testing.
