Syndactyly : This is a simple malformation that can occur in isolation an an inherited issue(dominant or recessive) or part of dozens of syndromes. Correction after age 18m & prior to school age is the general approach to provide the better outcome. A visit with a clinical geneticist (children's hospital or med school) could sort out your case.
