Depends on symptoms: There's no need for any intervention unless she's having symptoms like pain or nausea after eating. There are medications that help break up gallstones, but it doesn't guarantee that the symptoms will resolve. Low fat diets and medications really don't work reliably once symptoms have started. And cider vinegar does not break up gallstones. If there are symptoms, you take out the gallbladder.
