Klebsiella UTI: Klebsiella is susceptible to several antibiotics and the lab probably tested for susceptibility to many. Ones that usually are active include amoxicillin/clavulanate, cephalexin (and other cephalosporins), ciprofloxacin (and other quinolones), and doxycycline (and other tetracyclines). All these are more likely to be active sulfa-trimethoprim. Discuss with your doctor. Good luck.
