I fell on steps about 3 months ago there was a dent in the xray revealed it wasnt broken however there was a huge dent and it is still swollen and red ?

Doctor can examine: Three months is a long time if a person fell and did not break anything. Usually, one would be healed up by now. If there was damage, sometimes scarring will result and there will be residual changes, but the damaged area should be healed anyway. Thus, one can have her doctor evaluate to see what is happening. Of course, the important piece of information missing here is, "Where is the dent?"
