Root Damage?: It's time to have the toe re-evaluated. The difficulty you are having know is either being caused from the bone or the nail. It is not all that unusual for the nail to become ingrown due to nail root damage during the fracturing of the toe. The timing makes sense. Have an expert do the re-evaluation.
