What will a cone beam dental xray reveal? will it show the trigeminal nerve?

Not exactly: xrays only show bone well. Soft tissues (skin muscles fat blood vessels and nerves) all blend together and while we can often determine large changes such as swelling of all the soft tissues in an area we usually can't pick out individual components. However, by knowing the anatomy, such as the course the trigeminal nerve travels, we can look for swelling or bone defects that would impinge on it.
