Ultrasound showed a 9cm cyst on right ovary and 3cm enlarged lymph node above uterus fundus. could these be caused by 2 different things or most likely the same cause?

Cyst: An ovarian cyst can be simple, complex or infectious. If cyst is an abscess then strong probability the enlarged lymph node and the cystic structure could be connected. Lymph nodes in the abdomen are usually enlarged secondary to viral processes like mesenteric adenitis. However, lymphoma of the abdomen is associated with swollen lymph nodes. One thing a 9 cm. cyst should be seen by a gyne.
