Because of my pacemaker i cant have an m.r.i is there another way of getting a picture of my shoulders, and my head to get a idea of increasing brain bleed. i already had x-ray of my shoulders.

Ct brain: Should suffice for the brain bleed and even though not as good as MRI for shoulders, would still be better than an X-ray. Depending upon the question asked for your shoulders the orthopedic surgeon should be able to decide if an arthroscopy would be justified.

Had to reword my question. On apixaban. Can a slight bump on the head, like bumping it to get into the car or a bump that doesn't knock me unconscious cause a brain bleed while on thinners? I'm paranoid now feeling like I need a helmet while on these?
