A member asked:

I have a pleomorphic adenoma tumour in my submandibular salivary gland, i had a needle biopsy a week ago and it is still very swollen since and now it is itchy which it never was before, is this normal?

Biopsy: A biopsy is a surgical procedure. You may have symptoms of irritation for up to 2 weeks. If you are concerned, or if symptoms persist beyond 2 weeks, consult with the surgeon that did the needle biopsy.
