Had u/s guided needle biopsy 1 week ago. breast is a bit itchy and swollen. not-hot, red or painful. is this part of normal healing process?

Yes it is: Most needle biopsies heal within 7-10 days. But if they were more vigorous and bruised the breast a bit, it might take 2 weeks to heal. The fact that it is itching is a good sign that it is healing

Yes: This is often a natural part of the healing process. Cool compress may help as well as local topical cream for the itch or irritation. The fact that it is not red hot or painful or good signs that it is less likely an infection. However if this changes then contact your doctor.
