See dermatologist: I would suggest that you start a low dose topical retinoid such as Retin A. you even can get differin 0.1% otc Use it on entire face before bedtime. Wash off in am with cold water. Azaleic acid is very effective for post inflam hyperpigmentation, which sounds like what you might have. Use this on entire face. I would also try a low dose otc sal acid wash to use daily. Stay away from moisturizers
