Se asian female 38yrs after having a punch excision for acne scar at dermatology 6 mths on i've been left with hypertropic scar now .dermatologist suggest i use clobetasol propionate for 6-8 wks once a day on my face but is there a softer approach?

Another approach would be to receive intralesional injection of kenalog in to the scar to soften and flatten it. There are also newer techniques with certain lasers as well as perhaps micro needling. Suggest you speak with your dermatologist, another cosmetic dermatologist, or plastic surgeon to correct the scar.
