Sounds scary: Strange left arm symptoms combined with impending loss of consciousness means calling 911 for an ambulance... before losing consciousness. The ER can check to see what is going on. Sometimes tests and x-rays will be done. Possible causes include angina or heart problems, partial pneumothorax (collapsed lung), nerve or artery problems, heart arrhythmias, etc... One should not wait around.
