Hi doctor, pubic hair lice- shaved my pubic hair and frequently used hot water down there. they vanished for a while but now they are back. is there over the counter meds i can use?

OTC meds may work: Those little critters need hair to attach their laid eggs to. The adults don't live very long, so if a person prevents any eggs from attaching to his body, he will make them disappear. Goal number one: find every egg and destroy it (this is easy if no hair, because no hair means no eggs). Goal number two: kill the lice (sometimes there is only one, and there's no place to hide if no hair).
