My 5 year old has a sore throat and had a temp of 39,1. i gave him calpol and is now 38.4. he complained of a tummy ache about 9hrs ago and also vomited. he is sleeping now but moans now and then. should i rush him to er or be a bit patient?

Maybe strep: One possible condition is Strep pharyngitis. Soothing fluids, rest and treating fever is recommended. If you note any respiratory distress, fainting or dizziness, please see the emergency department, otherwise you may see his pediatrician in the morning.
