Hygiene & Vaccines: To avoid travelers diarrhea in India practice good hygiene & only eat at clean restaurants. Also aside from being up to date with measles, mumps & rubella vaccines the WHO recommends travelers to India also have the following vaccines: Hepatitis A & B, Oral Polio, Varicella, Typhoid, Meningococcal, Japanese encephalitis, Rabies & Yellow Fever.
