A Japanese bug...: Whenever one travels and eats in a foreign country, their are different types of bacteria, parasites and other organisms that reside normally in the residents of that land (colonization), but are foreign to foreigners. So 'trot' over to your gp, or a gastroenterologist or infectious disease doc. Tests for parasites like giardiasis, pathogenic e. Coli, tapeworm, will likely be done. Happy trails...
