Had 1cm enlarged node in deep cervical region of neck for exactly a year. its soft mobile and doesnt hurt. it has shrunk now to below 1cm. doc said hes not worried. if it has been here a year and gotten smaller does that rule out lymphoma?

Lymph node: Worrisome signs would be enlarging of the node, stoney hard consistency and appearance of other enlarged nodes. That being said, it is my custom to have a head and neck surgeon examine you and then render an opinion as to whether a biopsy is advisable.
