Had swollen node in neck for over a year now. small mobile oval. had us last dec and showed reactive node. its now been 16 months and node still here. it has shrunk over time but still noticeable. could this be lymphoma or would it have grown by now?

We all have nodes: Whether or not a lymph node is called swollen depends on the size of the node and the average size of nodes in that part of the body, in people of that age group. A node about the diameter of a dime may be called enlarged, and one that is half the width of a dime is called normal sized. A follow-up evaluation by one's primary care doctor can help decide whether or not there is a problem.
