Unlikely: It is common to have neck nodes increase in size with sore throat and head colds. Unless the nodes are progressively enlarging and get past 2 cm in size, I would not think about lymphoma as the cause.

Lympadenopathy: enlarged lymphnodes can be common and the thoughts of a serious cause such as lymphoma is always in the back of ones head. O good complete history and physical exam is important as well as some routine testing, including at the least a cbc-diff. The definitive diagnosis however for chronic lymphnode enlargement is a biopsy. Best wishes.
