Head injury: 2 main reasons to visit Dr. 1st if injury caused a deep cut esp if would not stop bleeding. 2nd and most important is if there are concussion symptoms- nausea/vomiting, confusion, fatigue/sleepiness, persistent headache, lightheadedness/dizziness. Description does not appear to indicate any concerning symptoms like these, so would not typically need to go to the Dr.
