Tattoo: A tattoo can get infected and cause a cellulitis. In some studies up to 6% of people get and infection. There is low but real risk of infection from HIV, Hep B and Hep C. TB too!.

Is there a rush?: Why not wait until after delivery? It is probably safe but this is a critical period in your pregnancy and I would wait until you have delivered although there are no real clear cut contraindications to getting tatoos. I would wait!
