I do not see any contraindication but as a doctor I am against tattoo at any time in life.

No. You do not want to get a tattoo until the ankle has completely healed. The ankle will have increase circulation to promote healing. This will cause any bacteria to travel to the surgical site. Possibility nothing will happen but is it worth the risk?
