ALS: Disease involving motor tracts of lateral columns and anterior horns of spinal cord and cranial motor nerves. Disease usually onset after 40 and male a female are effected equally. Disease is associated by muscle weakness and atrophy initially distally. This is then associated with hyperreflxia/clonus and then odd symptoms such as excessive laughing or crying. Respiratory depression the end.
