Jumping the gun: I suppose ALS can be considered but there are also a number of other causes for these symptoms as well. If this is a concern, ask your regular doctor to refer you to a neurologist.

Not clear not ALS: This needs clarification - the twitching can be benign fasiculations but I am not cleare. It can be neurological
