Is it possible for me to reduce pain in my sprained ankle by saturday?

RICE: Keep it elevated, rest as much as possible. The body wants to heal, we have to let it do so. Make sure to follow up with a podiatrist or orthopedic surgeon to ensure that there are no more serious injuries.

Many possibilities: R.I.C.E. Rest, ice, compression, elevation. Immobilization with a splint or brace may be of benefit in the initial phase of recovery. Oral anti-inflammatory medication may help with the pain and swelling. Once improved, mobilization and physical therapy can help restore strength and function. Healing times may vary. Have it evaluated if you do not notice significant improvement.
