Hello. i have a very sensitive bowel and have ibs. when i am very stressed i tend to block up. what i have noticed in the last few months, is the presence of blood during bowel movement. light red but a larger amount than normal - could it be fissure?

Bright red blood: is usually from the lower bowel, rectum, anus (eg fissures) HOWEVER you must find it's EXACT source! Consult your GP as soon as practicable. Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
