I have a 6 year old son who has high fever from saturday i took him to the doctor he gave him an injection and medication but he still has high fever and complaining about his legs are paining and his throat?

Some basics: Once established an illness will run its course. Whether or not the injection or antibiotics were needed cannot be decided on the information submitted. They would never be expected to end an infectious illness within hours even if they were. This may be influenza B which could last a while. If the kid wont drink enough to pee every 6 hrs take him back for a re-check.
