See doctor again: could be foot and mouth disease which is common in day cares. Could be a strep infection as well.. best to see her pediatrician again.

Common issue: You did not say what the doc did or said it was. This is a common presentation for strep throat, so if that was tested for ,diagnosed and treatment started, relax and give it some time.
