I run a lot and my average heart rate is approx 170 on a long run. my maximum heart rate according to my age should be 155. i don't feel that my heart is racing or funny in anyway. is this something to be concerned about?

Maximum Heart Rate: Your are correct according to the formula your maximum heart rate should be 220 minus your age or 155. However, this formula is an average guideline. You are keeping yourself fit, so you are not average! Keep it up!
