A member asked:

My 10 year old son's heart rate exceeds 180bpm with little bit of running. is this normal for his age? otherwise healthy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is within the listed limits for a kid his age, well tolerated by the heart and other system agents. A better understand of whether this was good or not for him would require a review of history, exam an maybe testing. Comments about a single vital sign out of context is not very helpful in understanding the whole kid.
